How do you show the benefits of merging 22 different engineering disciplines into one matrix organisation?

In early 2018, TfL were undergoing an organisation-wide engineering transformation. We created a five-minute animation, from bespoke illustrations, that explained how the new matrix organisation would merge all 22 engineering disciplines into one. This was presented in a live theatre setting, by the various Heads of Engineering, to over 5,000 TfL engineering staff. Feedback was positive, with improved staff and union relations. Some of this was attributed to the new, cohesive presentation style.
